Parenting on Our Own

for single parents and their children

The Parenting on Our Own* program focuses on the special needs of families with one parent present.

Parenting on Our Own programs provides FREE:

• Weekly meals, transportation and onsite childcare
• Weekly parent support/educational group meetings (Tuesday nights from 6:00pm to 8:00pm)
• Individual counseling and case management
• Opportunities to connect with other single parents
• Community referrals

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The Parenting On Our Own program is looking for volunteers to make dinners on Tuesday nights for the parents and their children. If you can help make an entree, side dish, salad or dessert please call Bonnie Andorka at (708) 848-2227.

Food that needs no refrigeration or heating can be dropped off at any time before the 6:00 pm meal. Hot foods and refrigeration items should be dropped off between 5:30 pm and 5:50 pm. Store-bought and pre-made items are acceptable and greatly appreciated.
