marks not only the start of a new year, but for many parents, the beginning of a
search for a preschool or childcare program that best fits the needs of their
child. In order to help parents in this process, Parenthesis Parent-Child Center
will hold its annual Preschool/Childcare Information Fair on January 15, 2009
from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at 405 S. Euclid Ave. in Oak Park. The fee for admission
is $5/individual or $8/family (please no children). This year's fair is to
include preschools and childcare centers in Oak Park, River Forest, Forest park,
and more from the surrounding areas.
The
Parenthesis Preschool/Childcare Information Fair helps parents match their child
with the preschool or childcare setting that most meets their individual goals
and circumstances. Whatever the ultimate choice, Montessori, Christian
affiliated, park district, school district or private setting, sorting among the
many choices can be a daunting and time-consuming project. Attending the
Parenthesis Preschool/Childcare Information Fair can save time as well as insure
that a family is fully aware of the many choices offered in the community.
Information provided by the schools or agencies will include philosophies,
schedules, staffing, tuition fees, applications and facilities. Representatives
from each school or agency will be on hand to answer specific questions from
parents.

you are a parent interested in attending, NO RESERVATION IS NEEDED, please just
show up!
